Physical Description
Bones and muscle, medium frame. Beduin arab. Two
gold teeth and a scar over his lip. Italian silk
suits and flashy accessories e.g. lapis lazuli
lighter. Exageratedly formal and polite manner.
Psychological Map (you
know hippy, psycho, other world daemon)
Very tough guy, but quietly self-confident and
doesn't make a big deal about it. Thinks of
himself as retired, barring the odd favour,
but he's a little vain and likes to let people
know how successful his business was through his
fancy clothes, generous tips etc.
Manimenesh has mellowed with age and is now
basically amiable, provided he doesn't start
thinking of you as an enemy or merchandise. The
last person who annoyed him ended up pegged to an
anthill in Kenya with their belly slit open.
Home
Middle East. Homes in Beirut and somewhere in the
Persian Gulf. Probably has safe houses.
Presumably stays somewhere when he visits the
Chatsubo.
Special Powers
No information available
Favourite Guns
None visible on his person, though a poisoned
needle has been mentioned. Has two very efficient
bodyguards, Ahmed and Khaled, who avoid drawing
attention. There is an uber-bodyguard/enforcer
called Jalil in the background, but it's never
been necessary to bring him to the bar.
Additional Comment
SFormerly a white (and anything else that paid)
slaver, with a sideline in
"recruitment" (corporate extractions).
Rich, with considerable resources and backup.
Been around, has a lot of old friends.
Manimenesh is *very* loosely based on a
character in Bruce Sterling's short story
"Dinner in Augohast".
